Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has had another setback on his broken forearm. Field Yates and Adam Schefter of ESPN report:

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski underwent surgery last week for an infection on the forearm that he re-broke during the divisional round of the playoffs against the Houston Texans, league sources told ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter and ESPNBoston.com.

Sources indicated that the infection was caught early and that Gronkowski will be ready for training camp. It was the third procedure Gronkowski has had on his forearm since first breaking it against the Colts on Nov. 18.

Having three procedures on one broken arm doesn't seem like it could be a good thing. However, until we hear otherwise, I think it's safe to assume that this was simply a minor setback on a road to recovery for Gronkowski. Nonetheless, should it cause Gronkowski to miss a significant portion of offseason activities, it could affect the offense's chemistry come training camp and the regular season.

This is a wait and see situation for the moment. And I think we can all agree in saying, "get well soon, Gronk."
