Okay, so it may not have been what Patriots fans had hoped for, but you're likely going to be watching Super Bowl XLVII anyways.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss the game. While the Patriots could take pride in losing to the eventual Super Bowl champions in the Ravens, I have a feeling that most New England fans will be pulling for the 49ers in this one. The biggest Patriots connection in the game - former New England receiver and fan favorite Randy Moss. Moss has taken on a role as the third receiver for the 49ers, and has not only been productive in that role, but has also become a locker room leader for the team.
Randy was with the Patriots in 2007 when they lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII, and a Super Bowl ring would really help solidify his legacy. Therefore, that's where my rooting interest will lie in this one. As for the game itself, I'm also taking the 49ers - I believe they're in a class of their own this year.
