Patriots' Roster... overflowing with talent

It's been a very long time, since I reviewed a Patriots roster at this time of year, and couldn't pair it down to the final 53, plus or minus a couple of players. Its also been a very long time, since the Defense had every single position locked up with a quality NFL starter, and the flexibility in talent and depth to easily assume nearly any scheme or sub-package.

So here is a breakdown of the roster, not every single player is listed, a handful that I feel have no shot at all of making the roster (the 53 man team) have been left off.
