Instead of every thread at Pats Pulpit turning into a debate over Ryan Mallett and Tim Tebow, we are going to have one thread and this is it. All other discussions and segues will be deleted or hidden and if it progresses the offender will be warned then banned. If this gets too unwieldy, I'll give you a new sandbox to play in.
This is an attempt to be fair to everybody. A few people want to debate 'til the bitter end and most of us are tired of listening to it.
All site rules are still in effect so no swearing and no name-calling. Yeah, I'm not really kidding about that either.
In case you forgot where this discussion left off (in case that is even possible), most everybody in here will fall into one or more of these camps:
Mallett has all of the tools to be a solid NFL quarterback. He is the future of the franchise.
Mallett has had three years in the system and he hasn't improved enough to be an NFL level QB.
Look at his stats and see that Tebow is as good a QB as X,Y,or Z starting QB. He is an athlete that just wins.
Tebow's NFL wins are largely flukes, the supporting stats are cherry-picked, and he has no future as a QB.
With that introduction, let the games begin.
