Pats Pulpit Official Yahoo! Fantasy Football 2013 League

Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

The Pats Pulpit Official Fantasy Football League using Yahoo!'s Fantasy Football game starts this year.

We did this last year with some entertaining results, but now we're prepared to do this as officially and cleanly as possible. This year's Yahoo! Pats Pulpit fantasy football league will consist of 12 teams and will be scored as "half" PPR--that is, half a point rewarded per reception to tip the competitive scales just a tad.

Currently, there are seven available slots left and you can secure your own piece of the pie by leaving a comment below. If we find there are a plenty more people interested than we can possibly fit--and I suspect that will be the case--I'd be happy to create a second 10- or 12-team league with the same scoring settings.

Throughout the regular season, I'll be posting weekly fantasy recaps tracking our league(s)--top fantasy performers, who had the biggest weeks, best start/worst bench, et cetera. It's going to be a lot of fun with some active, knowledgeable folk.

Our draft is currently set for Sunday, September 1st at 5 p.m. EST. Please make sure this date/time is available to you before you sign up.

Yahoo! Fantasy Football supports SB Nation and fantasy league families everywhere. In addition to the great drafting, trading, scoring and research that makes it the #1 free fantasy football game, this season also features a mobile app and Pro Leagues, where you can compete for cash.
