NFL Playoff Schedule: Patriots Will Host Colts in Divisional Playoffs

Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE

The Patriots will officially host the Colts in the Divisional Playoffs on Saturday, January 11th at 8:15 PM ET on CBS.

With the San Diego Chargers pulling off an upset victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, we now know who the New England Patriots will play on Saturday night: the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts, of course, pulled off one of the greatest and most improbable comebacks of all-time against the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday.  The Patriots and the Colts have not faced off against each other this season, which is in itself somewhat of a strange occurrence so it's only fitting that these two will face off in the Divisional Playoffs.

Last year, the Patriots ran over the Colts 59-24.  But these aren't the same Colts.

The Colts have an improved offensive line, a better defense, and an emerging star at wide receiver in T.Y. Hilton.  And, oh yeah, that Andrew Luck guy has looked pretty good.

Two teams with a rich rivalry and storied playoff history.  It's going to be a great week.  Schedule and broadcast information is below:

Game Time: Saturday, January 11th at 8:15 PM ET

Venue: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA

TV Schedule: CBS, National Audience

Colts Coverage: Stampede Blue
