The New England Patriots have announced the practice players of the week from the team’s 31-24 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Week 2 #Patriots Practice Players of the Week: QB Jacoby Brissett, LB Elandon Roberts & DL Woodrow Hamilton.

QB Jacoby Brissett is well deserving, having prepared well enough to come off the bench to ice the game in the second half. He also likely served as scout team quarterback and prepared the defense to face Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill.
LB Elandon Roberts is a great blitzer and actually played a few snaps of his own on defense. But his contributions likely came in practice where he could act like either of the Dolphins blazing fast LBs Jelani Jenkins and Kiko Alonso. The Patriots were able to run against these players at will.
DL Woodrow Hamilton could only have practiced as one player: DT Ndamukong Suh. Suh racked up a dozen tackles, including one tackle for loss, but he was unable to take over the game. Hamilton likely prepared RG Shaq Mason and RG Ted Karras over the prior week.
