Ron Brace to IR.

Ron Brace will almost certainly be put on IR Monday to allow for the return of Brandon Spikes. Another hit for the Patriots' defensive line, already depleted through injuries.

Jets fans still want money from the Patriots

It seems idiot Jets fans still believe they were duped. How fast do you think the Supreme Court throws this class-action lawsuit out?

"It seems like years ago when a trio of nasty helmet-to-helmet hits by Steelers linebacker James Harrison, Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson, and Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather sparked a league-wide debate about player safety. Well, it was more than two months ago. And with some time to think about it, the NFL has decided to reduce the hefty fines given out to all three players. Judy Battista of the New York Times reports that Robinson’s fine was reduced from $50,000 to $25,000, Meriweather from $50,000 to $40,000, and Harrison from $75,000 to $50,000. Battista writes that Robinson and Meriweather appealed the fines."

League Fines New York Jets For Tripping & Accusing Pats

Per Mike Reiss: The NFL fined the New York Jets $100,000 for violating league rules when assistant coach Sal Alosi tripped Miami's Nolan Carroll on the sideline during a punt return, and said that the fine also includes Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff accusing the Patriots of using the same tactics. The NFL's statement said that the NFL constitution and bylaws require teams to report suspected violations to the NFL, not to put it out there publicly. By accusing the Patriots, Westhoff violated league rules.

Sunday's win over Buffalo saw further improvement from the Pats defense, which is now ranked 20th in the league. In addition, the Patriots' weighted DVOA of 48.3% is now the highest of any team ever, passing the 2004 Steelers and 2007 Patriots. Barring some Brian Hoyer-led faceplant against Miami, the Patriots will be the hottest team going into the playoffs since at least 1993
