Edelman has broken arm
Wes Jr. suffered an injury getting tackled after a 4 yard pass from Brian Hoyer. No word on how long he may be out. This may push Brandon Tate into action even quicker than expected.

Julian Edelman has a Broken Arm
Ouch! Bring on Tate and Nunn and hopefully Aiken can step up!
Galloway must feel terrible that he can't beat a one-armed rookie.

Kris Jenkins out for year
According to Adam Schefter per Tim Graham NT Kris Jenkins is done for the year with a torn ACL. It is always sad to see a player go down with a serious injury, but it is obviously very "good" news for the Patriots (and Dolphins).
Before the season I thought the Jets had build a decent starting lineup but lacked depth, partly because they traded away so much for the Sanchize and Shonn Greene. Now the price has to be paid.
Tom not so terrific
Brady is inaccurate, and its obvious why. His lower body still isn't back to 100% strength. He isn't planting his feet like he should. This was to be expected though. Look at Manning from last year to this year. Brady just needs time.
An insight into the relationship between McDaniels and Belichick

Forgive me if this was already posted. I hadn't seen it.
Wilfork and Welker both active for Patriots; Joey Galloway is inactive
FOXBOROUGH -- ere are today's Patriots inactives:
WR Joey Galloway
DB Terrence Wheatley
DB Bret Lockett
RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis
LB Jerod Mayo
OL Rich Ohrnberger
OL Kendall Simmons
DL Ron Brace
That means both Vince Wilfork and Wes Welker are active. Both warmed up on the field before the game and appeared ready for action.

Belichick: A disciple of David Romer?
While searching the internet for information on going for it on fourth down, I came across some articles about Bill Belichick and what seems to be his tendency to go for it more often than other NFL coaches. Does this assumption hold true or is it just that the Patriots are more successful on fourth than other teams? Your thoughts? By the way, we are all very proud of Wes Welker here in Lubbock. It’s obvious he contributes a lot to the team. We all hope he recovers soon.

Chad Ochocinco and Bill Belichick pre-game fun
Chad and Bill greeting each other and goofing off a bit prior to their 2009 pre-season matchup. A warmer side of Bill not often shown by the networks.
