Bruschi Hints at Retirement?

At least that's what Michael Felger and some of the TV guys are saying.

Tedy Bruschi was definitely a little broken up in the locker room after the game, but he looked more composed later in another one-on-one interview.

Bruschi said he was going to go home and reflect on the season. Asked about the future, he said, "I don't know. ... I've been so into this season. ... I just take it from year to year," and reiterated that he was going to reflect on this season for a while.

He also said that he was proud of the other players on the team, and he sounded a little choked up about it.

I'm sure speculation will run rampant over the next few days, and we'll keep an eye on things. Of course, we'd all love to have Bruschi around forever, but he has served valiantly, and he has a future beyond football to consider, later if not sooner.

Well
he was more than a step slow this year, IMHO.  Could be a good time to hang 'em up.

Hey...
....now that the NFL has Given Peyton his precious ring (yeah, like after all that the NFL's gonna let Peyton lose the Super Bowl... please) maybe Peyton will join Bruschi in retirement.

Bruschi, it will be sad to see go, Peyton... good ridance, but then again, that would mean that he'd have more time to do mindless commericals huh...
