More from the Herald and Globe

The U.S. Coast Guard recovered Hill's body at 2:15 p.m. local time. He had been missing since 9:30 p.m. last night. His body was found a quarter-mile from the accident scene.

"We just confirmed that it is in fact the body of Mr. Hill and the Coast Guard has suspended its search," Petty Officer Tom Atkeson is quoted in the Herald story.

"The family will have to make positive identification," Capt. Brian Clark of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Department in the Associated Press story in the Globe. "But the body we found was that of Mr. Marquise Hill."

Um....
I'm assuming you mean 25 not 35?

And man, that sucks, and is so sad.

Helmets, Saftey Pads, Leather Jackets, and Life Jackets are your friends, though they look entirely uncool...

Ya. 25. Fixed it.
It does suck, and as you alluded, it probably didn't have to happen.

Too Young
Either way it's a tragedy for someone to die that young. At least the young woman he was with was rescued. My condolences go out to his family.
