Jackson Ready for Action
Injury Report is 'Good News, Bad News'
Here is this week's injury report for the New England Patriots road game at Buffalo:
New England Patriots (4-1)
TE Daniel Graham, questionable (Ankle)
CB Ellis Hobbs, questionable (Wrist)
C Russ Hochstein, questionable (Knee)
T Nick Kaczur, questionable (Shoulder)
FS Eugene Wilson, questionable (Hamstring)
FS Willie Andrews, probable (Thigh)
QB Tom Brady, probable (Shoulder)
CB Antwain Spann, probable (Shoulder)
Buffalo Bills (2-4)
OLB Josh Stamer, Out (Knee)
SS Matt Bowen, questionable (Shin)
C Melvin Fowler, questionable (Thigh)
WR Roscoe Parrish, questionable (Hamstring)
G Tutan Reyes, questionable (Shoulder)
After a the bye week, the Patriots still have a few notable injuries. However, notable by his absence on the injury report is WR Chad Jackson, who had been listed as "questionable" with a hamstring injury for the first five weeks of the season. Now, he isn't even listed as "probable."
This, my friends, is good news.
Also, Atrell Hawkins, also previously "questionable" is off the list. That's good, because Ellis Hobbs and Eugene Wilson are still both on the list.
New to the list is second-string center and guard Russ Hochstein, who joins fellow lineman Nick Kaczur. It's nice to have the extra bodies, but Hochstein's status shouldn't cause any catestrophic breakdowns.
The trick now, in Week 7, is staying healthy for another 10 to 14 weeks.
Buffalo also has a couple offensive line injuries to starters center Melvin Fowler and guard Tutan Reyes. Given the Bills recent performances, those injuries could be key against a completely healthy Patriots D line and linebacking corps.
