Much Hyped Cable Station Is Craptastic
The "NFL Network." What a joke.
The New England Patriots versus the Arizona Cardinals was broadcast live by the "network" Saturday night at 8 p.m., and then it was replayed Sunday morning at 3 a.m. And then the NFL network forgot about it.
Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars game has been shown a couple times already and is on the schedule for a couple more.
And, of course, the Patriots game is not available through On Demand. You constantly see and hear commercials telling you how the NFL Network and Comcast are bringing you the greatest thing since and how super fantastic "Patriots On Demand" is.
I don't see it.
I think it's crap.
So I saw most of the game Saturday, but I didn't study it like I normally might because I figured I'd be able to see it on the NFL Network some time during the week. Guess not.
For those who didn't notice or haven't heard otherwise, Channel 5 simply broadcast the NFL Network feed, albeit 10 seconds behind. That meant no local coverage.
Get used to it. I'll be taking the NFL to task on that topic very shortly.
