Harrison May Be Gone for Playoffs

Initial Diagnosis: Strained MCL
League Declares 'Open Season' on Patriots

John Tomase of the Boston Herald says the injury will almost definitely sideline Harrison for at least this Sunday's AFC Wild Card game in Foxboro against the New York Jets:

Sources last night indicated that Harrison suffered a mid-level strain of his MCL, which is one of the stabilizing ligaments of the knee. He could be sidelined from 2-4 weeks. Should the Patriots reach Super Bowl XLI on Feb. 4, it would be five weeks to the day after Harrison was injured.
Also, according to Tomase, the league has reviewed the play and declared Tennessee Titans receiver Bobby Wade's block "legal." Another slap in the face to the Patriots by the NFL.
