Open Thread: New England Patriots vs. Cleveland Browns, Week 5

The Patriots have had a short week to prepare, but this is probably among the best weeks to have that disadvantage.

Sammy Morris gets the call again as Laurence Maroney is inactive again. New England will be missing another key offensive team member as center Dan Koppen will also sit out. That could change the fortunes of Morris and Tom Brady. Russ Hochstein should start at center.

ESPN said guard Stephen Neal was out, but Neal was not listed on the official report issued by NFL Media, nor was he listed by Mike Reiss in his blog.

New England Patriots vs Cleveland Browns
Gillette Stadium, Oct. 7, 1 p.m.

Cleveland has a couple key inactives, including punter Dave Zastudil and defensive tackle Ted Washington. New England should see a little of former linebacker Willie McGinest.

Rodney Harrison is back and should see snaps off the bench.

It's feeling a little more fall-like, so enjoy the weather and enjoy the game.

Go PATRIOTS!!
