Baseball Season Is Over
New England Patriots @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I know the Boston Red Sox are in the lead in the American League East, but as far as I'm concerned, baseball season is officially over. (Hat tip to Over The Monster.)
Tonight starts the long road to the playoffs, and in Preseason Week 1, I don't care who wins or even who does anything. As long as no one gets injured.
I, personally, am very excited at the dawn of the 2007 season, and not just because of the Patriots potential. This season, Pats Pulpit has a triple threat with 6thround and Josh joining me at the keyboard to bring you the best blow-by-blow commentary anywhere on the three-time Super Bowl Champions. Thanks to both you guys. You've already had a great impact on the congregation. Let me hear a hallelujah!
So welcome one and all. Stand forward to the Pulpit and be heard!
And now, here are your New England Patriots.

It's utterly useless and painfully pointless.
