Patriots' Injury Report Consists Only of Brady
Giants' Burress a 'Game-Time Decision'
The injury list for Super Bowl XLII is very short with the participation of just one key player in doubt.
New England Patriots wide receiver Jabar Gaffney participated in the team's full practice Friday, leaving quarterback Tom Brady as the sole player listed on the injury report. Brady is listed with a right shoulder injury.
The Patriots had a short practice in "shorts and shells" (shoulder pads and helmets only).
For New York, Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress again sat out of practice Friday with a sore ankle and swollen knees. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Burress will be a game-time decision.
New York added defensive end Osi Umenyiora to the team's report. Umenyiora has a thigh injury, probably very minor, and did not participate in practice Friday. He's listed as probable with cornerback Kevin Dockery and guard Rich Seubert, who were limited in practice Wednesday, but participated fully in practice Thursday and Friday.
