According to ESPNBoston's Mike Reiss, Robert Kraft says that the Patriots voted in support of the overtime rule change last night. The change in rules would require 66.6% of the teams to vote in support of, in order for the rule to pass and be accepted.
The rule, essentially, says that playoff overtime can't end on a opening drive field goal- we go more in-depth into the change here.
I'm happy that Kraft voted in support. I don't think any single game elimination game should end without the opposing team having a chance to retaliate after a field goal.
