According to a Boston Globe article, new Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson has a goal for this upcoming season. It just seems fitting for this goal to be released on April Fool's Day.
"It's going to be fun," he said. "The Patriots have always been one of them teams that it's hard for me to swallow that pill of losing to them, so it's going to fun to play them twice a year. And it's going to be one of my main goals to beat them twice."
Now I know that it's his "team spirit" to declare victory attempts over fierce division rivals. I just think it's humorous that his goals be released on April Fools Day.
Then again, when the Patriots (and probably the Dolphins...and maybe even the Bills) sweep the Jets next season, I guess Tomlinson will feel pretty foolish.
