With the 113th pick in the 4th round 2010 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected Aaron Hernandez, tight end out of Florida.
Hernandez was a guy I targeted heading into Day 3. He will be able to do a variety of things for the Patriots. He is a pass catching tight end, with great speed to challenge the seam and great hands to make the tough catch in traffic, Hernandez was arguably the most prolific tight end at the college this past season.
While he isn't the best blocker, Hernandez can play h-back, fullback, tight end, and even split out wide for the Patriots player. He is a smart player and a hard worker. I think he will see solid playing time as a rookie, he may also be able to have a role on special teams. Greg's Grade: B+
