"I’ve worked hard this off-season and in OTAs and I’m prepared to have a good camp and hopefully a good season. It’s time for that hard work to pay off. There will be a lot of competition at my position, including Devin McCourty, our first round pick. Nobody has solidified anything in the secondary as far as I know. We have a lot of young guys with a lot of ability. Competition is something that everybody looks forward to at this level. You want to go up against the best and come out on top. It’s a good thing that you have to compete with the guys on your own team to win a spot so you can go out there on Sundays. It’s good for the team. I’m just ready to get out there on the field and play."
