Well, Belichick's clearly trying to find his roots and he's starting with the injury report.

Yep. That's a list of 18 players- a third of the active roster. You can be certain that the majority of the questionables will be suiting up, especially when players like offensive lineman Marcus Cannon are not listed on this report, yet remain unlikely to contribute.
When Arrington and McCourty are listed, you can be sure that Arrington will play so that Antwaun Molden and Phillips Adams aren't the only two active cornerbacks on the roster. If Solder and Vollmer are listed, at least one will play so Matt Light isn't the only active tackle. Chung and Ihedigbo are listed, yet Sergio Brown and Sterling Moore cannot be expected to be the Game Day starters.
So when looking at this list, I'd project the following inactives:
LB Dane Fletcher - OUT
LB Brandon Spikes - OUT
CB Devin McCourty - Doubtful, but had one practice. He'll rest up.
QB Ryan Mallett - QB depth.
OG Marcus Cannon - Off the injured list, not ready to play.
WR Taylor Price - Typical hamstring injury, look for Chad Ochocinco to have a larger role.
RB Kevin Faulk - It's either Faulk or Shane Vereen, but one of the running backs will be sitting.
S James Ihedigbo - It looked like he hit his shoulder pretty badly against the Jets. If not Ihedigbo, look for a healthy scratch like Jermaine Cunningham.
