Belichick-Era Patriots Top 10 Busts #6
Name: Brock Williams
College: Notre Dame
Drafted: 3rd round, 86th overall, 2001 Position: Cornerback Years with Team: 1+ Where is he now? Out of league Comments: Williams is more famous for pawning off his Super Bowl ring than for anything he did on the football field for the Patriots. Actually, that's easy to say because he never did anything on the football field for the Patriots. As a rookie, Williams suffered a knee injury before training camp started in 2001 and missed the entire season. Willliams was plagued by an ankle injury in the 2002 offseason, and was eventually released at the roster cut-down. He later resurfaced with the Raiders and Bears, but never made any meaningful impact.
