Patriots Draft Week in Preview: Wide Receivers

Here's a list of the top overall wide receivers in the 2011 NFL Draft:

1. A.J. Green

2. Julio Jones

3. Jonathan Baldwin

4. Torrey Smith

5. Leonard Hankerson

Mentions: Titus Young, Randall Cobb, Jerrel Jernigan

The Patriots may not be in the primary market for an additional wide receiver with players like Julian Edelman, Brandon Tate, and Taylor Price looking to become a larger piece of the offense next season. However, the Patriots lack a true big receiver at the wide receiver spot (Aaron Hernandez doesn't count) and could be in the market to give Tom Brady a large, speedy receiver who can dominate defenders. I doubt the Patriots spend an early pick on a receiver, but they could use a late round flier on a larger receiver.
