Chargers Coverage: Bolts From the Blue

In a match-up that many prognosticators are calling a potential AFC Championship preview, the New England Patriots will be hosting the San Diego Chargers in the team's home opener.

There are several storylines at play here. Will the Patriots offensive line protect Tom Brady as well as they did week one against the Dolphins? Will the Patriots defense, that allowed Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne to throw for more than 400 yards last week, recover against the prolific Philip Rivers?

As amazing as the Patriots were on Monday against the Dolphins, the team's performance did leave something to be desired in several areas of the game. We still don't know all too much about the 2011 Patriots, but today's match-up against a playoff contender in the San Diego Chargers, should give us an idea on where this team stands.
