The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week ten game against the Buffalo Bills:
Pat Chung, S
Aaron Hernandez, TE
Tracy White, LB
Ron Brace, DT
Trevor Scott, DE
Jake Bequette, DE
Malcolm Williams, DB
Quick thoughts:
- Tight end Aaron Hernandez will miss his fifth total game due to his ankle injury, as expected. Hernandez was limited in practice all week, and the extended rest from the bye couldn't get him healthy enough to play today. Hopefully he's close to a return, but I wouldn't be surprised if he missed another game or two.
- At safety, Pat Chung will miss yet another game. However, Steve Gregory, who's missed the last four games with a hip injury, will return against the Bills. This should help solidify the back end, and you can't help but wonder if Devin McCourty will return to cornerback for one more game. Although the Patriots could also opt for a three safety rotation of Gregory, McCourty, and rookie Tavon Wilson.
- The Patriots' offensive line will receive the boost in the form of All-Pro guard Logan Mankins, who returns to the line-up after missing the last two weeks with injury.
