My Sunday NFL game picks for week 11:
Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons: Were people really freaking out that much over one loss for the Falcons? Well this should be a bounce back game for them... unless Arizona magically fixed their offensive line in the last week, which I doubt. The Pick: Falcons 27 Cardinals 13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers: A win today, and the Buccaneers are in serious contention for a run at the playoffs. The Pick: Buccaneers 24 Panthers 17
Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys: A win today should, theoretically, put the Cowboys right back in the thick of things in the NFC. And theoretically, this should be an easy win. However, knowing this Cowboys team, a win today is far from a given. The Pick: Cowboys 24 Browns 10
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions: The Lions are at home and are desperately seeking a win against division rivals Green Bay to keep their playoff hopes alive. Unfortunately for Detroit, the Packers, winners of four straight, are one of the league's hottest teams. The Pick: Packers 31 Lions 27
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans: We' all like to see an upset here, but that isn't going to happen. The Pick: Texans 34 Jaguars 6
Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs: So, this is a game that Cincinnati should win, and needs to win, which is why I expect them to lose. The just never seem to bring their "A" game against lesser teams. Lets hope they prove me wrong today. The Pick: Chiefs 20 Bengals 17
New York Jets at St. Louis Rams: So is this Rams team the one that got spanked by the Patriots 45-7, or the one that was able to force a tie with the 49ers? It's hard to say, but with the Jets absolutely needing a win, I think they squeak one out. The Pick: Jets 19 Rams 16
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins: There have been many times this year where I've seen Washington as the second best team in the NFC East behind the Giants. I see them picking up a key divisional win today to stay mathematically alive. The Pick: Redskins 30 Eagles 23
New Orleans Saints at Oakland Raiders: Just two short weeks after the panic button had been hit in the Bayou, the Saints have a chance to climb back to .500 against the Raiders. The Pick: Saints 31 Raiders 21
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos: A win by the Chargers today could make things interesting in the AFC West down the stretch. But I just don't see that happening. The Pick: Broncos 27 Chargers 17
Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots: A rivalry renewed! The Patriots simply can't afford to lose this game at home against Luck's Colts, who are 2-2 on the road so far this year. It will be a close one, but I see the Patriots pulling it out in the end, with the health of Indianapolis' cornerbacks being a key issue. The Pick: Patriots 31 Colts 24
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers: No Big Ben for the Steelers, but I still think Byron Leftwich can keep this one close. The bigger question for the Steelers - can they slow down Joe Flacco, Ray Rice and the surging Ravens offense? The Pick: Ravens 28 Steelers 17
Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers are at home and are likely angry about last week's tie. The Bears meanwhile, will be starting Jason Campbell in place of Jay Cutler. Campbell is a solid back-up, but I see the 49ers pulling this one out at home. The Pick: 49ers 21 Bears 17
