Happy Turkey Day Patriots fans!
Tonight, the New England Patriots will travel to take on the New York Jets at 8:20 PM ET on NBC. The game marks the Patriots second Thanksgiving game in the last three years.
The Patriots, sitting at 7-3, are in position to take control of the AFC East with a win - possibly for good. The 4-6 Jets are tied with the Bills and Dolphins for second in the AFC East, and if they were to lose tonight, would find it virtually impossible to catch New England.
As for the game itself, it's hard to predict how it will go, typical with any Jets-Patriots game. In fact, I really can't remember a time in the Rex Ryan era that a game went the way it was predicted to go. Could be a win for the Jets, a nail biter, or a blow out for the Patriots. The Jets know they have nothing to lose at this point, and that makes them a dangerous team.
Of course, more than anything, most Patriots fans will be focused on how the Patriots offense will evolve without Rob Gronkowski. Aaron Hernandez will be active for tonight, which is good news, but we still don't know how the Patriots will look.
Greg's Prediction: Patriots 31 Jets 19
