Pats Pulpit Week 15 NFL Picks

Greg Knopping of Pats Pulpit makes his NFL picks for week 15 of the 2012 NFL season.

Larry French

My picks for week 15 of the 2012 NFL season:

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are 11-2 for a reason. They're in need of a rebound win, and I think they surprise people and get it at home against the inconsistent Giants. The Pick: Falcons 27 Giants 20

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens. It's really hard to say which team Patriots fans should want to win this game. Nonetheless, Baltimore is being underrated at the moment, and I think they are capable of beating the Broncos at home, but it should be a good one. The Pick: Ravens 20 Broncos 17

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears. The Bears are another team everyone is down on, in need of a huge win. It's easy to pick the Packers here though, which is why I'm going with the Bears. If they don't win today, they're done even if they're not mathematically eliminated. The Pick: Bears 24 Packers 23

Washington Redskins at Cleveland Browns. I've said for a few weeks now that I like the way the Browns are playing football this year. That being said, even with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, I think the Redskins manage to hold on to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Pick: Redskins 20 Browns 13

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans. After being embarrassed on national television by the Patriots on Monday, the Texans will bounce back and take claim over the AFC South title today. The Pick: Texans 31 Colts 20

Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins. It's been an up and down season for the Dolphins, although the future is bright. They get a win today at home against the lowly Jaguars. The Pick: Dolphins 24 Jaguars 10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints. A win will keep the Buccaneers alive in the playoff hunt... technically. They've had some tough breaks this season, but will be a team to watch in 2013. This one could be a barn burner. The Pick: Buccaneers 34 Saints 31

Minnesota Vikings at St. Louis Rams. Gotta love this match-up - two teams no one gave a chance at the start of the season in the thick of a playoff hunt. Unfortunately for the Rams, they have to face Adrian Peterson. And despite their improved defense, that doesn't bode well for them. The Pick: Vikings 23 Rams 16

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals. Not sure I've ever seen a team on the bad end of some tough breaks as often as the Lions have been this year. The Cardinals have shown promise on defense, but their offense is anemic. The Pick: Lions 24 Cardinals 6

Seattle Seahawks at Buffalo Bills. A win would inch Seattle very close to a playoff spot at 9-5. I don't know why, but for some reason, I have the feeling the Bills might give the Seahawks a run for their money, and could even escape with a win. The Pick: Bills 20 Seahawks 19

Carolina Panthers at San Diego Chargers. The Panthers are definitely playing better football as of late, but the Chargers are also coming off a big win over the Steelers. Could be a surprisingly entertaining match-up, with an edge to the Chargers. The Pick: Chargers 27 Panthers 21

Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have slowly managed to turn around their season. At home, I think they surprise a lot of people, get a big win over the Steelers, and become a serious point of discussion in the playoff race. The Pick: Cowboys 24 Steelers 20

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders. The match-up of the year! Hmm... I'm going to give the edge to the Chiefs, mainly because I'm a Romeo Crennel fan, and I'd like the see him keep his job. The Pick: Chiefs 16 Raiders 13

San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots. Am I biased? I believe so. In all honesty, tonight's game worries me. The Patriots have had a lot of things go their way lately, and a slice of humble pie might not actually be the worst thing. I'm not picking against the Pats, but I do expect a very close game, and a hard fought win. The Pick: Patriots 23 49ers 19

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans. No New York, you're not making the playoffs. But hey, at least you could get a win on national television. The Pick: Jets 19 Titans 13
