Patriots Free Agency Open Thread, Day 3

New, comments

The New England Patriots have been quiet as free agency heads into Day 3, but they can certainly breathe a bit easier now that QB Dan Orlovsky has signed with the Buccaneers and is no longer with the Colts. No question the biggest splash in the AFC East has been the BIlls' signing of Mario Williams, to a six-year, $96 million contract.

  • BenJarvus Green Ellis is scheduled to meet with the Bengals Sunday and Monday.
  • It appears WR Danny Amendola came to Boston for personal reasons, not to visit with the Patriots.
  • The Buffalo Bills Pick Up Former Texans DE Mario Williams.
  • Brandon Meriweather has taken a break from the bench to sign with the Redskins.
  • Here are some of the Patriots unrestricted free agents yet to be signed: Mark Anderson, Deion Branch, Andre Carter, Dan Connolly, BenJarvus Green-Ellis & Dan Koppen.
