Over his nine-year career, veteran wide receiver Brandon Lloyd has played for five different teams, and over a half-a-dozen quarterbacks. With no disrespect to guys like Mark Brunell, Kyle Orton, Sam Bradford; Lloyd's going to be catching passes from a guy who's had more success than any of them, combined. Tom Edward Brady.

When Lloyd signed with the Patriots in the offseason, he publicly showed how excited and ready he was to work with Brady. Even though this will be their first year working together, a Tom Brady-to-Brandon Lloyd pass seems about as heavily as the old Brady-To-Moss combo. Still, Lloyd preached that it's "way to early" to make predictions like that.

"It just takes time," he said. "We're continuing to talk and work together and seeing what one another is expecting out of the route running and eventually it will start clicking."

From what he's experienced so far, he says that Brady is a tremendous on the field communicator. While his relationship and chemistry with Brady is becoming stronger every day, Lloyd says that the real steps will need to be taken once real games begin.

"It just happens," he said. "Most of the time that kind of stuff happens when we're in the game and everybody's just on the same level. You can talk and you can discuss and practice a lot of stuff, but you really figure things out in the game-time situations."
