On Monday, the New England Patriots made several transactions to get their roster trimmed down to the required NFL limit of 75 players. But these cuts were only the beginning of what is to come before Friday's deadline of 53 players.
When making these cuts, the Patriots will most likely take into consideration who on their roster has practice squad eligibility. Let's take a look at the list of players whom the Patriots can place on their eight-man practice squad, which will be assembled on Saturday.

It is important to note that before a player is placed on a team's practice squad, they must pass through waivers. For guys like Aaron Lavarias and Jeremy Ebert, this shouldn't be a problem. But for high upside guys like Brandon Bolden and Alfonzo Dennard, the Patriots may risk losing them to another team.
