New England Patriots (1-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

Ravens Coverage: Baltimore Beatdown

The Patriots have jumped out to an impressive early lead over the Baltimore Ravens, taking a 10-0 lead into the second quarter. The Patriots were sparked by a dominating defense that didn't allow the Ravens to pick up a single first down.

On offense, Tom Brady looks very sharp. He hooked up with Brandon Lloyd for three first downs. A 59 yard completion to Wes Welker set up the Patriots for an early Gostkowski field goal.

On the ensuing Ravens' drive, Joe Flacco threw a ball down the seam into traffic that was intercepted by Patriots safety Steve Gregory and returned to the Baltimore six. Three plays later, Brandon Bolden ran the ball into the end zone on a two yard touchdown.

The game has been really chippy, with players from both sides being involved in multiple skirmishes after the whistle. The refs will need to take control of this one soon, before it gets ugly.
