The Patriots and Bills have announced their inactives for their week four match-up.
Bills:
Tavaris Jackson, QB
Delano Howell, SS
Kyle Moore, DE
Kirk Morrison, LB
Sam Young, T
Colin Brown, C
Ruvell Martin, WR
Patriots:
Julian Edelman, WR
Alfonzo Dennard, CB
Matt Tennant, OL
Logan Mankins, G
Brandon Deaderick, DE
Aaron Hernandez, TE
Justin Francis, DE
Thoughts: The big news here, for both squads, isn't who's not playing, it's who is playing. For the Patriots, tight end Rob Gronkowski, listed as questionable, will start today. For the Bills, both of their star running backs, CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson, will be active and will play. According to reports, Fred Jackson will start for Buffalo.
The Patriots' final inactive is recently signed interior lineman Matt Tennant. Tennant was signed by the Patriots yesterday to add depth to the interior line with guard Logan Mankins out. However, C/G Nick McDonald, sidelined by injury last week, will be active in place of Tennant, and should be the Patriots' top backup along the interior line.
Two other players making their 2012 debuts for the Patriots today: DE Jake Bequette and RB Shane Vereen. I wouldn't be surprised if Vereen sees a few snaps to spell Danny Woodhead as the team's change of pace back.
