New England Patriots rookie linebacker Dont'a Hightower appeared to injure his left leg after make a sack on Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in the first quarter of today's game. Hightower chased down Fitzpatrick for a one yard sack, then limped off the field.
Trainers appeared to be working on Hightower's left leg on the sideline. During the Patriots' next defensive series, Hightower moved to the bike, while veteran linebacker Tracy White replaced Hightower in the team's base defense.

The Patriots currently lead the Bills 7-0 after one quarter, with Stevan Ridley capping off the Patriots' scoring drive with a six yard touchdown run. The drive was highlighted by a beautiful bomb down the right sideline from Tom Brady to tight end Rob Gronkowski.
