The New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens will kick-off the AFC Championship at 6:30 PM ET tonight. Unlike last year, we'll actually know who the Patriots potential Super Bowl opponent will be before kick-off, as the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons play for their right to the Super Bowl at 3:00 PM ET.
While everybody seems to be riding on the 49ers heading into this game, and for good reason, I'm leaning with the Falcons. Why? Because they've been so disrespected. In fact, I can't think of a #1 seed in recent memory that has received as little credit as this Falcons team has. They're at home, and they have a big weight lifted off their shoulds after securing their first playoff victory over the Seahawks last week. This one could easily go to the 49ers, who looked outright unstoppable against the Packers, but with the lack of respect this Falcons team has been given, I expect them to make this a great game.
Greg's Prediction: Falcons 27 49ers 24
