The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week eight match-up against the Miami Dolphins:
Josh Boyce, WR
Steve Beauharnais, LB
Aqib Talib, CB
Tommy Kelly, DT
Leon Washington, RB
Jake Bequette, DE
Chris Barker, OL
The two most notable takes from this: cornerback Aqib Talib is out for the second straight week, while wide receiver Danny Amendola is in after missing one week against the Jets with a concussion. Having Amendola back means that the Patriots will have their most dynamic group of receivers this season - with Rob Gronkowski playing his second straight game this week.
The absences of Kelly and Washington were already announced, while Boyce, Beauharnais, Bequette, and Barker are all healthy scratches. The most notable inactive among those is Bequette - who has already been passed on the depth chart by veteran Andre Carter. Carter was signed earlier this week, and projects to be the 4th defensive end for the Patriots.
