Today, the 5-2 New England Patriots will face off against the 3-3 Miami Dolphins in a key divisional match-up that could mean a lot for the direction of both teams as they head into the second half of their respective seasons.
For the first time this season, the Patriots offense will have their two top projected receivers headed into the year in the line-up together: Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowksi. It doesn't mean that the Patriots will improve on offense, but it does mean that the time for excuses is over.
The Dolphins certainly have the talent to defeat the Patriots, but I still like New England here. Historically, the Patriots have performed their best when their backs are up against the wall. That's the scenario today. As another poor performance would put this team even more under the microscope.
Greg's Prediction: Patriots 24 Dolphins 23
