Facing a 17-3 deficit after two quarters of play, the New England Patriots managed to turn things around in the 3rd quarter in week eight against the Miami Dolphins, scoring 17 unanswered and giving themselves a 20-17 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
The Patriots' first touchdown of the quarter was a beautiful Tom Brady to Aaron Dobson 14 yard strike, on which Dobson executed a nice out and up on the Dolphins' cornerback.
On the Dolphins' ensuing possession, Logan Ryan forced a strip sack of Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill. The ball was recovered by Rob Ninkovich inside the red zone, and the Patriots quickly turned the turnover into six points with a Brandon Bolden touchdown run.
The Patriots have momentum heading into the final period, but the Dolphins have the football. There have been some encouraging signs from this team, but the game is very, very far from being over.
