Week 11 Sunday NFL Picks

Greg Knopping of Pats Pulpit makes his Sunday NFL Picks for week 11.

CHirs Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

For the second straight Sunday, the New England Patriots will not play.  Instead, the Patriots face off on primetime Monday against the Panthers.  But that means another Sunday of hopping around between games.  My picks for week 11:

Jets at Bills: This is the game the Jets need to win if they want to be considered a playoff contender in the AFC.  The Bills will be motivated to prevent just that.  The Pick: Jets 20 Bills 19

Ravens at Bears: Both of these teams are on the verge of playoff contention, and both really, really need a win.  I'm going with the Bears at home. The Pick: Bears 24 Ravens 17

Browns at Bengals: This is where the Bengals' skid has to stop, right? The Pick: Bengals 21 Browns 17

Raiders at Texans: Can the Case Keenum show result in a win? This would be the right opportunity, against a reeling Raiders team that will be without Terrell Prior. The Pick: Texans 27 Raiders 14

Cardinals at Jaguars: The Jaguars got their win out of the way, so that's a relief.  The Cardinals will have every chance to move to 6-4. The Pick: Cardinals 24 Jaguars 13

Redskins at Eagles: The Redskins were sitting at 3-6 before making a run to the playoffs in 2012 by winning seven straight.  Too bad this is 2013, and the Redskins just aren't very good. The Pick: Eagles 30 Redskins 17

Lions at Steelers: The Lions now have sole possession of first in the NFC North.  Now it's time to defend that title against a Steelers team that is at home and would love to play spoiler. The Pick: Lions 31 Steelers 23

Falcons at Buccaneers: I'm still in disbelief that these Falcons can be this bad.  The Buccaneers on the other hand, aren't as bad as their record suggests.  But I think the Falcons squeak out win #3 today. The Pick: Falcons 26 Buccaneers 20

Chargers at Dolphins: Whoever wins this game will remain in the wildcard hunt.  The loser will have their work cut out for them at 4-6.  The Pick: Chargers 31 Dolphins 21

49ers at Saints: The 49ers are clinging to contender status, and a loss to the Saints at the Superdome could raise some alarms. The Pick: Saints 27 49ers 24

Packers at Giants: Scott Tolzien probably has more upside than Seneca Wallace.  But the Packers will need to prove they have a better overall team than the Giants to win in New York today. The Pick: Packers 21 Giants 19

Vikings at Seahawks: Percy Harvin returns to the football field for the first time today and will play against his former team.  We'll get to see the true potential of the Seattle offense today. The Pick: Seahawks 31 Vikings 16

Chiefs at Broncos: Peyton Manning's ankle might get more close-ups than Tom Brady's hand tonight.  And yeah, I think this one should be a pretty good match-up.  Both these teams are kind of good.  But the Broncos offense is crazy good. The Pick: Broncos 27 Chiefs 21
