We have some more information surrounding the injury to the knee of New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, following yesterday's report that the cornerback would miss this week's game against the Denver Broncos. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Dennard underwent a minor procedure on his mensiscus over the weekend:
Patriots will be without CB Alfonzo Dennard Sunday vs. Broncos. He had a small meniscus procedure this weekend, I'm told, out a few weeks

While there seemed to be hope yesterday that Dennard would miss just one additional game, this news adds critical context to the situation, and means that the Patriots may need to go out and find some help.
Pats Pulpit's own Alec Shane provided a list of available free agents yesterday.
With Steve Gregory likely still out as well, we're back to a familiar story for this defense: waiting for them to get healthy.
