The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week 14 match-up against the Cleveland Browns:
Steve Beauharnais, LB
Aaron Dobson, WR
Brandon Bolden, RB
Jake Bequette, DE
Michael Hoomanawanui, TE
Kenbrell Thompkins, WR
Marcus Cannon, OL
No huge surprises today. Kenbrell Thompkins is innactive along with Aaron Dobson who was declared out on Friday. That means that the freshly re-signed Austin Collie and rookie Josh Boyce will both be active. Look for Boyce to continue kick return duties, although he's likely to be surpassed by Collie on depth chart on offense.
Brandon Bolden is also out, as expected. That means that Stevan Ridley, a healthy inactive last week, will be active and will likely play. He could split early down snaps with LeGarrette Blount.
One more notable inactive on offense: Michael Hoomanawanui. Most thought he would play this week after D.J. Williams was released, but his absence means the Patriots will only suit up Rob Gronkowski and Mattew Mulligan at the position. James Develin could also play in a pinch at tight end.
On defense, the Patriots will have all of their questionable defensive backs active: Kyle Arrington, Aqib Talib, Alfonzo Dennard, Steve Gregory, and Marquice Cole. That doesn't mean they are all healthy, but at least the Patriots will have the bodies.
