The New England Patriots look like they're ready to add a few key veteran bodies to their defense. Late last night, it was reported that the Patriots would be hosting veteran pass rusher John Abraham and veteran safety Adrian Wilson on visits. Today, Tom Curran of CSNNE reports that the Patriots are hosting another veteran free agent pass rusher: former Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney:
In addition to John Abraham and Adrian Wilson, the Patriots will be hosting Dwight Freeney on a free agent visit. #PatriotsTalk

Personally, I think that Freeney would make more sense as a situational pass rusher than John Abraham. Either way, if the Patriots can get one of these two under contract, it could only serve to help their inconsistent pass rush.
And oh yeah... for all the fans panicking over the lack of moves, you can relax. Yes, the Patriots are going to improve their team. We're not even 72 hours into free agency. These things take time - the market has settled and it looks like the Patriots are finally getting active.
