The New England Patriots have made a trade to acquire more ammunition in the 2013 NFL Draft. They have traded their first round selection, 29th overall, to the Minnesota Vikings, for the Vikings's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th round draft selections.
This trade most certainly looks like a win for the Patriots. This draft is particularly deep in the middle rounds, and the move gives the Patriots two picks in each of the second and third rounds, and an early day three selection as well.
With plenty of players at need positions still on the board, you can be confident that the Patriots will still be able to secure players that fill those needs.
Currently, the Patriots picks are now:
Round 2, Pick 52
Round 2, Pick 59
Round 3, Pick 83
Round 3, Pick 91
Round 4, Pick 102
Round 7, Pick 229
Round 7, Pick 226
Round 7, Pick 235
What are your thoughts on the deal?
