Some Comic Relief: Today's Press Conference with Bill Belichick

Sometimes you have to wonder why the media even bothers showing up to a Bill Belichick press conference.

Coach addressed the media this morning as minicamp got underway, and naturally the bulk of the questions fired his way were of the backup quarterback variety. True to form, Belichick answered any and all questions as only The Hooded One can. Needless to say, hilarity ensued.

Usually, there's really no need to watch a Belichick press conference after he answers the first one or two questions, as the rest of his time in front of the podium will be spent simply rewording the same response over and over again. However, in this case I made sure to watch the whole thing from start to finish, and I couldn't help but laugh; as the entire world stumbles all over itself to try and cover Tim Tebow, Belichick remains as prickly and stonefaced as ever. You can actually watch him getting more and more bored with the questions as reporters tried desperately to get him to say something - ANYTHING - that they could use. But no dice; Belichick's responses to today's questions were so vintage Belichick that you wouldn't even have any idea what year this video was shot if it wasn't for his stylish new 2013 team issue windbreaker, which is clearly the summer version of The Hoodie.
