Aaron Hernandez arrested, taken away in handcuffs by police

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was arrested on Wednesday morning by police in North Attleborough, Ma., according to the Boston Globe and Michael David Smith.

Authorities have yet to reveal what charges Hernandez currently faces. There were conflicting reports late last week that police had prepared an arrest warrant for Hernandez for obstruction of justice, but no warrant was issued at the time.

Hernandez has been looked at by law enforcement in the murder investigation of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, who was found dead less than a mile away from Hernandez's house last Monday.

Since then, police have searched Hernandez's estate and taken away several boxes and bags of evidence. It has also been made known that Hernandez ruined his cell phone and surveillance video from his home has been compromised.

While this investigation has been taking place, an allegation and lawsuit by Alexander S. Bradley came out, saying Hernandez shot him in the face on June 13 following an argument, according to Yahoo.

Hernandez hasn't been cooperating with both local and state police according to multiple reports.
