Patriots Training Camp Open Thread: Day Five

Open thread for the fifth practice of Patriots training camp 2013.

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

The Patriots will wrap up five straight days of practice today by kicking off their third full pads session of training camp. The team is scheduled for a day off tomorrow.

Practice will kick off at 1:30 PM ET today. Here are a few different things we will be looking for:

1. The Patriots offense had a bit of an off day yesterday at the in-stadium practice. Will they be able to rebound during today’s session?

2. It looked as if running back Shane Vereen saw a majority of first team snaps over Stevan Ridley yesterday. Was this a fluke, or was it tied to Ridley’s ball security issues (he fumbled the ball twice on Sunday). It will be interesting to see if this turns into a trend.

3. Cornerbacks Ras-I Dowling and Logan Ryan had strong performances yesterday. Will they be able to build off of that and factor into the mix again today?

Feel free to use this post to discuss the practice session and other Patriots happenings for today.
