Patriots Training Camp Open Thread: Practice 6

After a scheduled off day on Wednesday, the New England return to the practice field this Thursday afternoon. Practice is scheduled to kick off at 2:20 PM following a Bill Belichick news conference. Weather is expected to be in the low 80's and mostly sunny. Three things we’ll be on the look out for:

1. Rookie receiver Aaron Dobson was held out of practice on Tuesday after taking a cleat to his leg. Will he return to practice, and will there be any nagging effect?

2. Ras-I Dowling saw a few reps over Alfonzo Dennard in Tuesday’s practice. Is that a trend that could continue?

3. Along the offensive line, Dan Connolly remains out while Tyronne Green took some reps from Marcus Cannon on Tuesday. Similar to the Dowling situation, could this be the start of a new wrinkle?
