The New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open up joint practices this Wednesday afternoon with an 2:00 PM practice session. There was some up and down yesterday. The two teams will face off in week two of the preseason Friday night. A few things we’ll be on the look-out for:
1. Brady was still sharp yesterday against the Buccaneers, but it wasn't quite the Madden performance he delivered against the Eagles during their joint sessions.
2. Vincent Jackson, at 6-5 230 lbs made everyone who went up against him look bad. We're there any teachable moments that will allow the defense to improve today?
3. These joint practices and the preseason game have another interesting layer – the teams play early in the regular season (week 3). I’ll be curious to see how that impacts this week’s session.
4. Feel free to take the kids down for the Patriot Place Mini Camp as well.
As always, feel free to discuss the day’s happenings here!
