Patriots vs. Buccaneers preseason: Game time, TV schedule, streaming and more

The New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet tonight at Gillette Stadium. Get all the info you will need for the game here!

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

In a week that has been overshadowed by the not so significant knee injury to quarterback Tom Brady, it turns out that the Patriots actually have a preseason game. That game will take place tonight, at Gillette Stadium, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots and the Buccaneers meet after three days of entertaining joint practices. These teams know each other well, as coaches Bill Belichick and Greg Schiano are coach, as each has nine former Rutgers players on their respective rosters.

The question on most people's minds heading into the match-up: will Patriots quarterback Tom Brady play after suffering a knee injury during practice? The answer is yes - as it turned out, the injury was very minor (with a very major overreaction to it).

Tonight's preseason battle will also have another layer of intrigue because the team's meet very early in the regular season -- week 3.

That being said, here's all the info you will need on tonight's match-up:

Game Time: 8:00 PM ET

TV Schedule: Will be broadcast nationally on FOX.

Streaming: The game can be watched on NFL Preseason Live. However, it won't be able to be accessed until after the game due to blackout rules at which point it will be available on demand.
